Vince Grittani has been a professional playwright for over thirty-five years. In 1985 he created and directed the Toronto hit “Yuppies! the Musical” which played to audiences for
nearly a year, then followed with up a rebuttal to his own work with “Quiche My What!” . During the 90’s he focused mostly on television until he was commissioned in 2001 to write “Scenes From My Dock” for the 100th Anniversary of the Gravenhurst Opera House. This musical spoof of Cottage Life has since seen several productions by other professional companies.
In 2003 he founded the Muskoka Theatre Project which in 2008 came under the direction of The Rosseau Culture and Arts, a non-profit culture and arts organization that he also founded. Since then he has written plays, the award-winning one-woman show “Quiet! I’m Talking” and “The Audit”, musicals “Wake Me When It’s Over”, “Wedding Whine” and golf romp “Scenes From the 19th Hole”.
